Cyclocross racing was Nathan’s pathway into cycling, with the Washingtonian competing in the ‘Little Belgians’ league in his home state as a kid. He’d race every weekend but later joined a junior road team in 2021.
A winner of the criterium event at the USA Cycling Collegiate Nationals in 2025, Nathan has established himself as a promising sprinter and is looking forward to his first season in the U23 ranks with EF Education - Aevolo. He also took his first European win in 2025, on the final stage of the Vuelta Ciclista a Castilla y León in Spain.
Away from cycling and school, where Nathan is currently studying data science in Vermont, he likes to hang out with his girlfriend and friends, and he’s big into gaming, with his favourite being Rainbow Six Siege. He also spends way too much time, and readily admits it’s an obsession, playing ESPN Fantasy Football, which at least allows him to put his data science skills to good use when he comes to picking players for his team.

What is your favourite climb? What makes it special?
The Kemmelberg. It was the first Belgian “berg” I raced over as a junior. I have raced it many times since and suffered hard every time.
Who is the person you most admire and why?
My Dad, because he is a really hard worker and is always super kind to everyone he meets

I am studying Data Science at the University of Vermont
