Danish, English, and a bit of French and German

Magnus Carstensen is a born classics rider.

In 2024, he finished second at the Ronde van Vlaanderen Juniors and won a pair of stages at the Tour de Himmelfart Juniors, as well as taking the general classification. The soft-spoken Dane also won at Randers Bike Week Juniors and Odder CK Juniors.

Last season was his first with EF Education-Aevolo and Magnus got the chance to race his first Paris-Roubaix Espoirs and finished third on a stage at the Giro Ciclistico della Valle d'Aosta - Mont Blanc.

Magnus loves the speed and quick-thinking that it takes to race at the front of the peloton on the cobbles. His dream is to one-day ride solo onto the Roubaix Velodrome and lift the famous cobblestone trophy aloft. To get there, he wants to learn as much as he can from the older athletes on EF Pro Cycling whom he used to watch on TV.

Magnus grew up in the Danish countryside and enjoys the peace and quiet there. When he is not on his bike, Magnus likes to relax with his friends and drive cars.
